This pool environment was carved and created within a steep sloping property. The goal was to take advantage of the falling grade of the site and create a series of different levels from the upper spa and fall to the lower pool deck level.
This was a very steeply sloping property, where the township would not allow a pool in the rear yard. So we worked with the grades and integrated the pool and spa into the slope, creating a two level pool space. With the exposed pool walls, we wrapped the walls with the same stone on the home, for continuity. We also took advantage of the elevations/exposed walls and created falling water from the spa and scuppers!! We had to sculpted the land first and used large boulders to do so.
From the rear yard, terrace and home, you can see and experience the falling water from the elevated spa and the stone scuppers from the stone vertical wall.
